Q: What equipment do I need to participate in a video conference/virtual excursion?
A: The equipment needed to participate in a video conference/virtual excursion varies depending on your requirements. In general, you will need standards based video conferencing equipment and  an interactive display. Please contact the VC helpdesk for more information.

Q: I am having trouble connecting to a video conference event – what do I do?
A: Contact our Video Conferencing helpdesk on 1800 060 636.

Q: I am interested in hosting a Video Conference Event/Virtual Excursion in conjunction with ELB Education. Who do I contact?
A: Please contact n.beveridge@elb.com.au for more information.

Q: How do I register for a Virtual Excursion?
A: A: Simply log in, or create an account on our website, select your preferred session, and follow the prompts. You will receive a confirmation email once you have completed the registration process.

Q: How much do video conference events/virtual excursions cost?
A: Many of our VC events and virtual excursions are FREE for ELB Education customers. Others require payment for each participating class. Costs differ per event – for more information check the specific event information.

Q: One of my products is faulty, or not working properly – who do I contact?

Q: I need to purchase some new equipment for my school. How can I get a quote?
A: Please contact one of our Education Consultants.

Q: I have placed an order - how do I find out when it will arrive?
A: Contact your Education Consultant/Account Manager.

Q: I would like to investigate the status of a service claim – who do I contact?
A: Contact Service and Support on 1800 060 636 or email ServiceHelpdesk@elb.com.au with your service call number.

Q: I need to order a new part for one of my products. Who do I contact?
A: Contact your Education Consultant/Account Manager.


Training

Q: Are your training courses accredited?
A: Yes. The ELB Training Academy is accredited with BOSTES as an endorsed provider Professional Development in New South Wales.

Q: Can I request a training course to be delivered at my school?
A: Yes. ELB Academy courses can be delivered at your school, in-house at the ELB Academy (various locations), or via video conference to remote locations.


Warranties

What sort of warranty do you offer on your products?
A: All products come with the manufacturer’s warranty, and extended warranties are available on request.


Technical

Q: I want to order an interactive projector. Will it work on any surface?
A: Yes, however to get the most accurate response from the touch unit, the surface must meet the relevant guidelines.

Q: Can I reuse my existing board in conjunction with an interactive projector?
A: Yes, however to get the most accurate response from the touch unit, the whiteboard must meet the relevant guidelines. To avoid ‘hot spots’ on the screen, ELB recommends that interactive projectors are paired with a low sheen, low flex interactive projector whiteboard.

Q: What are the conditions for downloading teaching resources from ELB Education?
A: You may view, display, print out, copy and modify these materials for non-commercial educational purposes provided you retain all acknowledgements associated with the material.


Account

Q: Why do I need to create an online account?
A: Creating an online account allows you to easily manage all of your event registrations, training courses, and subscriptions with ELB Education. It is also required in order to register for VC events and conferences.

Q: I’m not sure who my school’s Education Consultant/Account Manager is. Who do I contact for questions regarding my account?
A: Contact our head office (02 9433 4444) for further information.

Q: I don’t have an account with ELB Education. Who do I contact for a quote?
A: Contact Sales on 1800 622 800.
